Worst club I've ever been to (out of hundreds)! STAY AWAY!. I honestly think that this is the worst club I've ever been to out of all the clubs I've been to in my entire life. This club absolutely sucks. During a recent show in which the #8 ranked DJ in the world was playing, the sound and power cut out to the stage on three separate occasions. When the club was emailed as to why an apology wasn't issued, there was no response whatsoever.

The sound system is absolutely terrible and sounds similar to a car with the stereo blown with way too much bass.

I would never give a dime to this place and would strongly recommend that no one give this place any business. Hopefully they'll learn, but I doubt it.

Terrible customer service. Terrible dance floor which spins and makes people dizzy. Terrible everything.

I cannot believe people still go here!. This place really just wouldnt be the first place on my list, not that it ever was but if you have nothing else better to do because every other bar is closed, i guess you have no choice. And the club promoters outside begging you to take the flyers or trying to get you inside with some new weekly scheme is so annoying! Skip Ybor all together and head to the clubs in Hyde Park!

Best Club in Tampa. New Years Eve at the AMP is the greatest! It also happens to be my birthday and I look forward to every New Year to celebrate at the AMP. Love going there even on a regular Saturday night. Their house DJ Mondo ROCKS!! My opinion is he is the next Tiesto or Okenfold. Want a good time where everybody gets along - come to the AMP!

If you like Techno - there's no place better. Between the thumping music, the rotating dance floor, and the stage shows, the Ampitheatre is the best dance club in Tampa!

What a great dance place!. I had a blast dancing all night long with my friends and don't remember leaving! I think I lost 10 pounds while shaking my booty! Huge and fun is the way I describe this place.

Stellar lights, sounds and ambience easily set this club into a class of its own. No where else on Seventh Avenue will you find a rotating dance floor, megawatt sound system or wing-clad dancers that mingle like moving sculptures throughout the venue.
It also boasts a full stage set with lights that sit midway between the two floors. The result is a great view from both levels and sound that rivals established performance clubs.

A little pricey for what it is.... Pretty cool club. Cover charge and drinks are expensive, but it's not bad on occasion. Good music and DJ's.

I love the place!. I visit Ampitheater every week, either on fridays or saturday, mostly fridays. And yes, i love to dance as if there is no tomorrow. This club is about pure techno and dance. In between, you will find everything that you ever expected .. cool crowd, cool in-house DJ, cool bartenders, cool performers and a cool setup.

I got hooked to this club by chance - and what a good chance that turned out to be.

If you see a guy dancing all night long on the centre-podium on a friday night, there is a big chance that it's me!

good techno club. This is a good club if you like to dance to only techno. They were spinning mostly breaks and a little trance the night i was there. The go-go dancers put on a good show.

Great time. Went down on spring break, and was by FAR the best club we went to on 7th ave. From the spinning dance floor, miss hawaiian tropic contest, the mist, lighting, dancers and crowd, it was a great time. If you haven't stopped by the club, you owe it to yourself to check it out.
