The Baisden Gallery is the successor to Grand Central Gallery, one of Tampa's most respected private galleries. Susan Baisden, one of the two women who ran Grand Central, has taken the reins and is continuing with the successful formula of Grand Central.

The Artists, Part I
When it was still called Grand Central, this gallery was acknowledged as a national leader in the increasingly popular field of contemporary glass studio art, and works by prestigious glass artists like Dale Chihuly are always a centerpiece to the gallery's museum-quality shows. But just as impressive are Grand Central's exhibitions of contemporary painting and photography by important American and international artists.

The Artists, Part II
Baisden Gallery also presents a smattering of the best local artists, most notably painter/photographer Alison Burnett. Susan Baisden has demonstrated an uncanny eye for recognizing quality, even in artists who haven't received a lot of national attention yet.

Cost Factor
Prices for most works range from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars. You can look all you want for free.
