Perched on prime St. Petersburg waterfront property, Vinoy Park offers an inviting setting for outdoor events.. Activities
Whether picnicking within view of The Pier, sprawling out on a blanket or tossing a football across the flat, grassy field, you'll find this an ideal place to spend idle time on an eye-pleasing patch of green. Bordered by a sidewalk, the park features walkers, runners and in-line skaters steadily streaming by at all hours.

The Scenery
Adjacent to the Renaissance Vinoy Resort, the park shares the shoreline with a playground, a beach and nearby North Shore Park and Pool, but little else. Nothing blocks the park's unspoiled view of Tampa Bay--that means no facilities other than a stark sculpture that adds an artistic touch to the grounds.

Big Events
Annual celebrations include a Fourth of July party, jazz concerts, Ribfest in November, Starfest in May and Taste of Pinellas in June.
